The Makita cordless snowblower is equipped with a 40Vmax lithium-ion battery system and a high-output brushless motor, offering performance levels that rival smaller gas-powered models. It features a 530mm working width and a 300mm snow removal height, allowing efficient clearing of driveways, sidewalks, and parking spaces.
Its no-load speed ranges from 1,400 to 2,100 rpm, and it can throw snow up to 10 meters away. The direction of snow discharge can be adjusted 180 degrees left or right via an electric control lever, while the throwing angle can be manually adjusted through nine levels with a single touch.
When powered by the BL4080F 40Vmax battery, the MSN001G can clear approximately 133 square meters of snow per charge, equivalent to about 9–10 parking spaces or around 20 minutes of continuous use.

Makita designed the MSN001G for real-world winter use. It includes two LED lights — one illuminating the ground near your feet and another lighting the front path — making early-morning or evening snow clearing safer and easier.
The folding handle design allows for compact storage when not in use. By loosening the four knobs on the handle, the snow blower folds down to a size of 800×540×700mm, making it easy to transport or store in tight spaces. A built-in stopper prevents accidental unfolding during transport.
